Linderöd pig
Linderöd pigs, from the parish of Linderöd, are Sweden’s only endangered indigenous pig.
The animals are motley-colored on a white, gray, or brown background. Their ears are medium-sized and often bend slightly forward.
Linderöd pigs are well-adapted to Sweden’s climate and are, therefore, suitable as outdoor pigs.
The pigs at the museum are used on the museum’s farmstead to loosen topsoil in fallow fields.
