About the museum

Vallby Open Air Museum was founded in 1921 to present a picture of life in Västmanland County. Today, the museum features a number of exhibits that represent the county through time.

Vallby Open Air Museum seeks to recreate and show environments that people once lived and worked in.

As a visitor, you can experience how people lived and worked, see animals they kept, plants and crops they cultivated in gardens and fields.
